How to help: Support Leukemia Research
Charlie Hays is putting together a team of women (and men!!) to run (or walk!) in support of Bonnie at the SF Nike marathon and half-marathon in October 2005. If you are interested in joining and training with the team, please contact Charlie at charlene_hays@yahoo.com

Charlie, is this a TNT sponsored event or is the group doing this on their own?

Yes, I believe this is a "Team in Training" event. See the link to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for more info.
Nike gives all procedes to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and there are TNT teams training for this, however the group I'm organizing is just us on our own. I would definitely encourage all participants to raise money for research, just have folks make the checks out to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We can keep a running tally of donations gathered in Bonnie's honor, as well as a log of total training miles covered by the group. Will you be running (or walking?)
